Welcome to Ragged Edge Alpacas!  We are located in beautiful

South Central Pennsylvania in the heart of historic farmland. 

A mission trip to Peru was the inspiration for our alpaca farm. 

While there, we discovered light, soft, and colorful alpaca blankets, scarves and sweaters.  We brought them home, along with lots of dreams and ideas,  and within a year we were building a barn, purchasing alpacas, and putting up our sign. 

At Ragged Edge Alpacas we tend to our huacaya herd carefully

and personally and follow the highest breeding practices. 

Our herd includes bloodlines from nationally acclaimed sires

Royal Fawn, Shaquille, Shades of Gray, Black Magic, Aga Khan, Hemmingway, and Neruda.   Daily we marvel at our alpacas’

unique and engaging behaviors.  We celebrate their show ring successes and are humbled witnessing the births of new crias.

We offer alpaca sales, breeding services, and agistment,                 and we provide you personal and ongoing support.   We continue      to listen and learn as the alpaca industry expands.  We welcome   you to come visit us and experience our piece of Peru in PA!
